Hello, Life starts anew in fits and starts so many times; reflecting upon the past, I wonder about all the hats I’ve worn. Now, I feel that in the past year and a half mine has been a struggle to get off the starting point once again. I’ve been without a job (that’s another story), but kept my hand in my profession. I’ve finished a significant commitment and had to survive the throes of separation. So, I’m thinking about creativity, which has been part of my life in many forms. More and more people are publically posting their thoughts about all sorts of subjects and I thought I’d throw in the hat and add my observations about creativity in many different venues and genres. Right now, I express my creative urges through cooking. My husband is surprised and pleased with the tasty and attractively arrayed adventures and outcomes. I try my hand at jewelry-making and am just starting to explore collage-making. In the past, I wore many creative hats- I danced, I was a weaver, I worked (hope to continue) working in museums and with traditional culture. I’ve done some photography for work and for fun, some even published! With this, I will wade into the future or is it the present. Don’t think that a blog will catapult me fully into the 21st century. I continue to refuse to own or use a mobile phone … if you want to get together, let’s set a time and place and just be there like we did not so long ago!
