More clothes

With More Clothes I make my final Art Week 2023 entry, I think. In the next few weeks, Constant Companion, Daughter, and I will do our best to take in the few shows that remain for a while longer.

There’s always more clothes. I’ve become more bold this year. I actually approach people to ask if I can take their photos. In most cases, they seem to be thrilled by the request. A few are still sneak photos, no questions asked.

Chaneling Basquiat (look at the shoulders on the left) and who else?

Haven’t got a clue, maybe someone can explain this one

The green images on this jacket is Gye Nyame or God is Supreme, one of many Adinkra symbols from the Fante, the Akan, the Ashanti and the Akuapem from Ghana.

No these two women did not know each other – up and down and sideways stripes!

No idea who or if this is someone …

Once again, the Zuri dress (shopzuri.com) (see 6 December 2023 & 7 December 2019 for previous sightings). I now conclude that the Zuri is the dress most desired by art fair goers. Look, the two ladies even wear sensible, art fair shoes – my type of gals!

This guy should get with the “desert” guy I saw on 6 December! A whole Mexican village.
