And Then There Were None: Art Week Redux

Can you believe a whole week has passed since the art extravaganzas that overran our city and our lives closed up and quietly departed? A few of the remains of the tents are still being removed. Of course, as usual, are the few exhibits are staying in place a bit longer, as are the museum exhibitions we stayed clear of. If all goes well, Constant Companion and I will have two “art” days this week and gradually catch up with what we missed.

In the meantime, a few additional comments about what I saw during the week of art and more remain. It’s the “more” that will be focus of this expose.

I’m not sure what I enjoy more: observing the attention some fair-goers put into their attire or the expressions on their faces as I ask to snap a photo. Thanks in advance for those who reponded to a stranger’s request. Both are equally rewarding and bring joy to me.

Here’s a few from Day 3 at Untitled. Two sartorially attired gentlemen.

This gal brought a friend along with her; I think Charley was the name …

In today’s age of digital tickets, this participant made a wearable of her past passes.

This fellow at Scope also wore his artistic creation

I thought the color palettes of these two lady’s dresses were absolutely complimentary.

I think this neon/digital lady usually fashions her finery out of duck tape.

This lovely lady, red from top to bottom, brought a friend with her to Art Basel.

With this, I close my observations of Miami’s annual, very busy Art Week. More art awaits Constant Companion and me.
